Game day is coming around the corner and there are three, simple steps that must be completed in order to throw the ideal Super Bowl party.

Step 1:

Find a suitable place, preferably a living room facing a television, for your guests to get themselves comfortable. Try to place a large coffee table in front of large sofas to have a place to put food.

Step 2:

Decorate your living room, kitchen and social areas of the house with gear at your local party store. Party City has paper plates, cups and napkins of your favorite team. There is no shame in purchasing your team’s gear if they aren’t in the Super Bowl.

Step 3:

A party would not be a Super Bowl party without the food. To help you get this step done quickly, here are five delicious and effortless recipes.

Chicken Wings:

Place your prepared chicken wings, buffalo sauce, ranch, and pinches of salt and pepper into a slow cooker or Crockpot. Let them turn to perfection in 30 minutes.

Nachos:

Pile tortilla chips, shredded cheese, black beans, jalapeno peppers and diced peppers on a baking and bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes. Once the cheese has melted to your preference, add Ortega sauce, avocado slices and sour cream if desired.

Strawberry Lemonade:

Fill a pitcher with water, ice cubes, lemon juice, pureed strawberries, lemon slices and sugar. Stir and serve.

Pastry Hot Dog Puffs:

Slice your hot dogs and place each piece in the center of a two-by-two inch piece of puff pastry. Wrap your mini dogs, coat them in an egg wash, and sprinkle with garlic salt and parmesan. Bake them at 375 for 20-25 minutes.

Veggie Platter:

Arrange sliced carrots, celery, broccoli, cauliflower, bell peppers and snap peas on a platter, centered around a ranch or dipping sauce of your preference.
