The task of studying can be painful, but with the right food, after that, great knowledge.  What you eat while studying can help stimulate your mind, so you don’t end up with a failing grade assigned. Here are some foods that are good to eat while studying.

Nuts: Nuts have been known to be a high in energy food, but they can also stimulate your brain through the crunching sensation in your mouth. The energy released from nuts slowly releases, so it will keep you energized for hours.

Blueberries: Blueberries are another great food to eat because of the effect on your memory. Blueberries have been proven to delay short term memory loss, so if you are cramming for a test, blueberries are a great food to eat.

Carrots: Carrots aren’t necessarily going to help you remember things easier, but they are great foods if you are having trouble focusing or staying on task. The crunching of carrots will help keep you brain focused on the task in front of you, so you can become a more efficient worker.

Pretzel sticks: Pretzel sticks, like carrots, will help you keep your mind focused on studying rather than messing around on your phone, or computer. The saltiness of pretzel sticks also acts to lower adrenaline spikes, causing you to not twitch or fidget during your studying time.

Water: Water is a beverage, but it is just as important to keeping you awake and on task as any of the other foods on this list. Your brain needs a sufficient amount of water to function well, so it is a very important thing to drink while studying.

Even though these foods will help you focus and keep your mind stimulated, there are many other foods that perform the same function. Eating any fruit, vegetable, or whole food can help you with studying.  Food gives us the energy we need to succeed, which is why it is also important to eat three meals a day, especially breakfast.

So remember students, eat food that is real, and never ever skip a meal.
