It’s not even halfway through December yet and Linh Thai (‘20) is already in the Jolly Season of Christmas. She absolutely loves the Christmas spirit and starts celebrating it in November through December. Thai loves everything about Christmas: the lights, reindeers and making cookies with her family. She believes it’s a great time of the year to bond with her family and friends.
“Usually, I can’t meet [my family] all over the Christmas Break, so I decide to celebrate [Christmas] early to have time for everyone,” said Thai.

When someone mentions Christmas, Thai goes crazy about it. She loves the entire holiday and looks forward to it every year.
“It is super fun and happy. I love the time of the year. It is super festive and just everyone is always so happy,” said Thai.

Thai values the word “holly”. Thai believes that “holly” brings joy and happiness to everyone. That is why Christmas holds a special feeling to her.

Christmas is something that bonds the family together. For Thai, it is a chance for her to meet with her family again and enjoy the holiday. She loves meeting her family again and knowing what they have been doing in their lives. She loves putting on her red hat and wearing her pajamas while she receives gifts on the holiday season. She doesn’t mind how she spends her Christmas as long as she spends it her her family.

“I absolutely love Christmas,” said Thai.
