Brian Pham

Brian Pham was only a sophomore when he became aware of a little journalism class called Baron Banner.  Driven by his interests in photography and graphic design, Pham took a leap of faith and decided to apply.

“I had friends that were in this class and decided to talk to them [about joining],” said Pham, “So I did.”

Even outside of  Baron Banner, Pham has been experiencing new things with art, in all shapes and sizes. In his free time he likes to practice calligraphy, an interest that stemmed from a need to perfect his school projects. He also dabbles in photoshop, creating cool and interesting graphics as practice. Of course, he’s also taking pictures as well, as that’s where his passion for the arts originally grew from.

“[Photography} is fun for me, just to take and pictures and see them,” Said Pham.

When he’s not participating in artistic activities, you could find Pham working at charity events for Kiwins, a club on campus that he is actively a participant in.His interest in the club was rooted from before he was even in high school. With a pretty full slate on his hands, Pham’s goals for the upcoming school year are to achieve a 4.0 and potentially join another club.
