Freshman, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors…  An epidemic is affecting our community.  Over the last two months, literally dozens of Fountain Valley students have become inflicted with symptoms our school has yet to have seen before.  At first, we thought it was just Freshman who were being affected.  And then, we thought it was Seniors.  But after this week, we now know that it can happen to anyone… that’s right, anyone!

Even groups of students can be CAUGHT… BEING GOOD!

Derek Ho, Brandon Do, John Nguyen, and Patrick Banh collaborated on Wedensday to return a phone that was lost out in The Bowl.  This act of kindness was truly a group effort, and each one of these young men share equal responsibility for their “caught being good” mentality.  Congratulations, guys… you’re what positive behavior is all about at Fountain Valley.

And for the rest of you… be careful.  It’s spreading like wildfire… ‘cuz even you, may be CAUGHT… BEING GOOD!

Time for a Word Lesson, Barons!!!  Webster’s dictionary defines the word CATCH as a verb, meaning to seize or capture, especially after pursuit.  The word can also describe the action of interception or seizure, as in “I caught a fly ball at the baseball game.”  But we all know it’s most prominent use around our campus.  And that’s in the past tense, pronounced CAUGHT.  As in, “When you see Tom Lai walking from class to class, just know that earlier this week he was CAUGHT… BEING GOOD!”

9th Grader Tom Lai was observed by Supervision staff cleaning up a table full of trash during lunch. Tom wasn’t serving a Campus Beautification, he was just doing this because it was the right thing to do.  Thanks Tom Lai, we appreciate you caring about the campus enough to make it a better place. You’re a perfect example of not only how to be a Baron, but how to get yourself CAUGHT… BEING GOOD!”
