Still looking for a spooky thrill before Halloween begins?
Knott’s Scary Farm is the place to go if you get frightened easily and want to pay fewer bucks than other amusement parks. With plenty of monsters, clowns, werewolves, etc, the trip seems to promise plenty of horror. You can challenge yourself by entering some of Knott’s famous mazes, such as Doll Factory, Cornstalkers, and The Slaughterhouse! New mazes are available this year as well. Be aware though, if you’re someone who does not get scared easily, Knott’s won’t be too thrilling.

The mazes are a highly-entertaining experience. Be prepared to enter a dark and scream-filled atmosphere, expose yourself to life-like surroundings, and face your worst nightmares. Monsters will unexpectedly come up and scare you in corners, turns and dead-ends. Bring a partner with you for extra protection!

For those who don’t wish to head to the scary attractions, the classic Knott’s rides and roller coasters will be there. However, coming to Knott’s Scary Farm and not attending the mazes does not guarantee a scare-free night. Free monsters constantly roam around the park, intimidating and frightening guests. And yes, clowns will wield chainsaws, axes, and other weapons. Fortunately, they aren’t allowed to make physical contact with you. But here’s a tip: Don’t run.

If you’re planning on going for the first time, don’t re-consider your choice because of this. As scary as it might sound, the fun you’ll have is going to be much greater. Towards the end of your visit, the monsters will not bother you as much, and soon you’ll find yourself getting used to them. Also, go with a group of friends to make the trip more memorable and less scary. Knott’s Scary Farm is open from 7pm-2am, and their last day is October 31st, so come while the horror lasts!
