The boys cross country team ended their successful season on Saturday, November 19th at Mt. Sac.
“I’d say that a great way to put it would be that we can try our best to have a good day at every race,” said captain Jay Bonthius (’12), “but unfortunately Saturday wasn’t a good day. We didn’t move on to state, but we were incredibly glad to have the opportunity to compete in CIF championships at a level where no one expected us to reach.”
This has been the first year since 2002 that the boys have continued into CIF championships.
“So our season is over,” continued Bonthius, “but it was without a doubt the best that we have had in nearly a decade.”
