Fallen Empire: The Best Snow Patrol Yet!

Album cover for Fallen Empire

The Fallen Empire album is the sixth installment from the Northern Ireland’s Snow Patrol and was released on January 10. It’s been three years since they released their song “A song for polar bears” in 1998.  They have a trillion critics and have been on ABC hits.

The album first opens with a song called ” I’ll never let you go”. It talks about a person who met a homeless guy in Santa Monica. He sees him everyday and the homeless person will always forget who he is. This song represents anxiety and how a person could care so much for a homeless person. The best song that represents the album itself is “The Fallen Empire”. According to snow patrol, they have said one of the following about their best hit, “It’s insane really. It’s like Irish folk techno. I really don’t know what it is. It’s kinda become a live favorite already, just watching people react to it. . . jaws are just open the whole way like, ‘Oh my God.’ ” “The Fallen Empire” has been one of the best songs that snow patrol has finally made since their last album 3 years ago.

Overall, this album is probably the best album for the Snow Patrol yet. They have created great music and I definitely recommend you give it a listen.  Fallen Empire is truly enjoyable and you won’t forget the amazing songs and messages that each contains. Snow patrol has released their most successful album yet.
