After a dominating victory over Huntington Beach last week, the improving Barons carried that momentum into Thursday’s dual meet against the Marina Vikings. Despite the inability of many club swimmers to attend the meet, the boys outdistanced the Vikings 117-52 and the girls swam past Marina 93-77.
With the knowledge that the Barons will leave with a victory, many swimmers were entered into the meet in their off-events to attain a time. Despite this every level for both boys and girls won the meet, except frosh girls were edged by a slight number of points. Fountain Valley posted 1st and 2nd place times in most of the events.
