Students Meet to Talk Careers

Students from all across Fountain Valley met with career professionals from a wide range of fields Thursday, April 19, for Fountain Valley’s Business Day.

Students from three high schools and one middle school spoke with with entrepreneurs, healthcare representatives, business owners, EMTs, bankers and even journalists from the O.C. Register.

Business Day lasted from 7 .am. through noon, and featured speakers such as representatives of the PBS show “Roadtrip Nation.”

“It was a good opportunity to explore possible future careers,” said senior Rosie Toumanian.

At the end of the day, 25 different prizes, including four $750 scholarships, calculators, a signed book about John Lennon and goodie bags, were handed out.
