FV KIWIN’S at its best.

Fountain Valley KIWIN’S attended the 37th Annual District Convention at the San Diego and Country Resort last weekend. The theme was, “Follow the yellow brick road to service.”

Also known as DCON, the convention is a highly-anticipated event for club members that occurs when KIWIN’S clubs located in California meet up to elect their new district board for the upcoming term.

It also a time for members to meet new people, attend workshops, and demonstrate club spirit.

“It was the time of my life and I would definitely recommend members to go next year,” said Andrew Than (‘15).

Fountain Valley KIWIN’S won fifteen awards, including Distinguished Secretary, Distinguished Treasurer, the Video Contest, and much more.

“I’m so proud of you guys, and thank you for making my senior year special!” said Lotus Thai, (‘13) the previous Vice President.

“Now it’s time for post-DCON syndrome,” said Rosendo Ortiz (‘14).

About Tyanna Bui

I remember when this box would be on myspace. I'd spend so much time just doodling random, awesome things about myself. But since this isn't myspace, some things you should know about me are that I'm a big fan of music, thus making me a musician, reading seventeen magazine, and surely sharing my thoughts to the world.
