Alternative pitcher, Weathers, who was out earlier in the season for an elbow injury, was back in the game along with fifth string pitcher, Fehser , and Bancroft, who switched up from the JV team.

Hitters Emily Brucelas and Kelli Tatum (’14) both went 1-3.

Fehser (’14) stated, “I think our teams defense was on top like usual, [and] there were a few balls hit that could have been caught or [we] could have had made a few more plays.”

The Lady Barons play in their next home game against Newport Harbor next Tuesday, April 30.
