In the game against Newport Harbor, the girls started at a head to head battle in the first inning, and could not manage to score. In the second and third inning, the Barons were on fire, scoring five against the sailors. Pitcher, Madi Weathers (’14) made some incredible throws, leaving the opposing team unable to even hit a single ball.

Players Anna Marin (’14), Jesse Giese (’13), and Randi Fehser (’13), all contributed to many runs and points. Throughout the game, the girls were completely loaded on the bases, yet couldn’t score all the points they were close to. The game ended with a shutout on Newport and a Baron win.

In the game against Los Alamitos, the girls could not manage to break the fire of the Griffins. The barons had some close plays, however did not get a run all the way to home to score.

Audrey Lansdown (’15) said, “Although it wasn’t the best game we played, I know that we will work harder in our practices to end our season strong.”
