Soon-to-be graduates gathered in the bowl to commemorate the annual Baccalaureate ceremony Sunday, June 8.

The ceremony allowed seniors to come together in the bowl for the last time, and to celebrate graduation with their loved ones more intimately.

Principal Herzfeld began the ceremony by expressing what the term “B4L” means to him – someone who is ethical, hardworking, and passionate about their dreams. Following that was a Troubadours performance of ‘A Little More Homework” from their previous concert.

Each speaker was introduced by the master of ceremonies, Tyler Bernardin (’13). Student speakers included Carina Assayed (’13), Kaitlyn Bannister (’13), and Maxx Kominsky (’13). Teachers of the year Mr. Patton and Mrs. Lichodziejewski also delivered speeches.

After the ceremony, spectators enjoyed refreshments in the cafeteria, and graduates posed for pictures with their loved ones.

Senior Kevin Nguyen stated, “Seeing everyone in their gowns for the first time finally let that feeling of moving on to college set in.”
