Students returned to FVHS to register for the upcoming year’s classes Monday.

Registration takes place from Aug. 12-15. Freshmen register Monday, seniors register Tuesday, juniors register Wednesday, and sophomores register Thursday.

Students come to the school to pick up ID cards and schedules. They may also apply for parking permits, lunch passes, or any schedule changes. Super Baron cards, ASB cards, and student planners are also on sale.

“After getting my schedule, I’m more excited about this year than any other year,” Janelle Dinsmore (’15) said.

As what usually happens this time of year, many students had to wait in lines for hours.

“I wish the supervision office was more organized,” Justin Le (’14) said. “There should be three separate lines for lockers, lunch pass, and parking permits. Some people had to wait in line for over an hour only to sign up for a locker, which is a waste of time.”

Despite complications at registration, students are looking forward to the first day of school.

“Even though I’m taking a zero period, I love the order of my classes and the potential teachers I may have,” Lindsay Danley (’14) said. “I’m really excited for the upcoming year…I’m ready to make the most of the time left I have at FVHS.”
