Field hockey won its first game of the season, with a shutout score of 4-0, against Louisville High School on Tuesday.

The girls managed to score once in the first half of the game, and held their lead for the rest of the game, scoring three times in the second half. Goals were made by a strong offensive lineup including Cami Stevens (’14), Cara Troutman (’15), and Alana Batta (’16).

High scorer and forward Cami Stevens said, “I think the girls did a great job coming together and working as a team for our first game. We’ve only been practicing for a couple weeks now and I’m excited to see future games.”

Come out and support our lady Barons in their next home game on Tuesday, September 17, against Glendora!
