Sarah McCance’s ROP Entrepreneurship class is at it again with the on-campus coffee shop, the Baron Brew, which opened today.

“Baron Brew is a coffee shop that the entrepreneurship class runs and sells to the staff members on campus so they get the real-life experience,” explained McCance.

McCance’s students run the shop on assigned shifts during zero period.

With a variety of food and beverages, the shop attracted staff members and students looking forward to start off their day with a warm cup of coffee or hot cocoa and some pastries.

Ashley Nguyen (’17), who ordered a cup of hot cocoa, said, “The price is decent and I think it’s a great way to start the day.”

Ska band Panoramic was also in attendance, playing music for the students and staff members.

The Baron Brew first started in the second semester of last year with some difficulties, but the students are determined to step up their game.

The shop is in Room 220 during zero period on Mondays and Wednesdays and allows for deliveries and online pre-orders.
