FVHS clubs CSF, NHS, and KIWIN’S all came together for a social last Friday at Green Valley Park. The gathering, which took place from 3:30 to 5 p.m., was a great way to end the long week of school.

The clubs provided a make-your-own hot cocoa station along with many other foods. Although there were many food provided such as chips, Korean barbecue, and drinks, members also brought other food such as pizza and cupcakes. Everyone ate, hung out, and even played on the playground. CSF Co-President, Mimi Chen (’14) said, “The social was a great way to bond with members and meet new people from other clubs.”

Because it was so late in the day, the weather was somewhat chilly. NHS Co-President, Pauline Nguyen (’14) said, “The only thing I didn’t like about the social was that it felt pretty rushed. If we do it again, I would have it indoors and schedule it for a longer amount of time. We didn’t get to do a lot of activities that we planned.”

Nevertheless, everyone still had a great time. Chen and Nguyen both concluded by saying, “In the future, we want to host an even bigger social with more clubs and more people. We met so many new people and would love to do it again.”
