Here are your final announcements for the 2013 – 2014 school year….   

The Financial Office is only accepting CASH, no checks!

All textbook lockers must be cleared out by Wednesday, June11th.  Items left in lockers at the end of the school year will be donated.

Attention all 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students: Late Registration Packets must turned in to the front office as soon as possible. If you lost your packet, you can pick up a replacement packet in the front office. You will not be able to proceed with August registration if the school does not have your emergency card for next year. Thank you to the many students who DID turn theirs in on time!

Attention all students signed up for AP 3D next year with Mrs. Jones.  There is a mandatory meeting today during lunch in room 240. Your summer assignments will be explained.  Please bring your lunch while we discuss next year.  If you can’t make it, you need to stop by and talk to Mrs. Jones. See you there.

Attention future AP European history students, we are having the mandatory summer assignment meeting today in room 408 at the start of lunch.  Please do not be late.

Attention all sophomores taking APUSH next year.  There will be a quick informational meeting today at 3 PM in the Social Studies bowl.  We will be talking about the summer assignment and the course expectations.  See you at 3!!!

Attention all students who signed up for AP Computer Science next year: if you have not turned in your transcript yet, please do so by tomorrow, Tuesday, by placing a copy of it in Mr. Eggert’s mailbox in the administrative office. Make sure your email address is written on it.

Will you be a junior or senior next year?  Do you want a parking permit?  Parking permits will be issued during your assigned registration time in August.  You MUST have any outstanding detentions, campus beautifications and Saturday School assignments cleared and turned into the Supervision office by June 12th to be eligible or wait until school starts next year to clear detentions.  Stop by the Supervision window if you have questions.

If you purchased a Yearbook or a Super Baron and haven’t picked it up yet, please come to the Financial Office.

Here are your morning announcements for Friday, June 6, 2014…     

SENIORS ONLY!!! In the event we get more yearbooks and you want to be added to a WAIT LIST, bring $90.00 CASH to the Activities Office by 4:00 today.  There are guarantees.

The Baron Academic Foundation’s logo contest has concluded and the winning design was submitted by Senior, Meredith Lightbody.  Congratulations Meredith. And a big thank you to all who participated.

Attention all Varsity and JV football players, please report to the football office today promptly at the start of lunch.

Grad Night Party is needing LOTS of parents to assist this week, beginning Friday night through Thursday afternoon in decoration, construction, set up, and cleanup. .  See specific times at www.fvhsgradnight.com.  Food will be provided!

A big, Thank You for all who donated drinks for Grad Night Party.  We now have plenty of water and soda, but still need Gatorade and wrapped candy.  All donations can be dropped off at FV Fire Department across the street from the school.  Thanks again!”

 

Here are your morning announcements for Wednesday, June 3, 2014…     

Congrats to the 2014 Dodgeball Champions – “Shrek is Love” made up of team members Noah Rivard, Jonah Mack, Jacob LeBaron, Erik Barnes, and Alyx Merickel.

Check out the Academic Prep classes being offered at your school site on the Huntington Beach Adult School website. This summer we are offering AP level classes as well as remedial level classes in Chemistry, English, math, Spanish, World History and Art at one or more of our district school sites. You are eligible to attend classes offered on any of our district campuses this summer.   Sign up today!

SENIORS!  You must pick up your Senior Clearance Card Friday morning before your first class.  They will be handed out by your Guidance Specialist at the Attendance Windows starting at 6:45 AM.  You must attend all classes and get teacher signatures in order to clear.  Remember, Friday BEFORE your first class!

Come out and support your senior girls at Westminster High School tomorrow night at 5pm as they take on Westminster in a Girls Flag Football game. Admission is $2.00 and all proceeds will benefit  Breast Cancer so wear pink!

June 5, 2014 from 4:00 -9:00at FUZION Meet. Eat. Play.  Come to eat, play arcade games, play lazer tag, or go mini bowling.  Come early, stay late! Comedy Club special, $10.00 entrance fee includes free soft drink.  Two great comedians will be featured. Fuzion will donate back 20% of all games, food, comedy club admission and non-alcoholic beverage sales to FVHS PTSA.

Seniors, you can pick up your yearbooks tomorrow at the Senior Luau, from 4-6 PM on the pool deck. Come have a hula with your friends, take a dip in the pool, and get a head start on signing yearbooks.

Donations are needed – Grad Night needs Soda, Water, Wrapped Candy… The Fire Dept is accepting donations for us.  Please donate if you can as it takes a lot of these items to keep 500+ teenagers hydrated and going until 5am!  You can bring donated items to the fire station directly across the street from FVHS at anytime.  Please place them in the covered areas right at the front of the station.  Bottled water and any type of soda, Coke, Pepsi, Root Beer, Sunkist, Sprite, 7-up, cans are needed. NO BOTTLES of soda please.  Wrapped candy in bite sized packages are perfect.  Please just drop off at your convenience.
