On Mar. 4, Fountain Valley High School (FVHS) will be celebrating its 50th anniversary through Spring Fest from 5:30 P.M. to 8 P.M.

The school and its members have invited the entire community, FVHS alumni and staff to enjoy delicious foods served by different clubs and entertainment from the school’s choir, band, cheer and many more.

Here’s a preview on some of the foods served by different clubs.

Baron Broadcast News will be selling green tea boba, California Scholarship Federation with a churro bar, Key Club with spam musubi, Make-A-Wish with Korean Barbeque, Mock Trial with street tacos and many more. Also, Baron Banner will have a polaroid photo booth in front of the cafeteria!

From 5:30-7:30 P.M. in the bowl, there are going to be spectacular performances from our very own performing arts groups. Which includes the dance team, band and theatre.

At 7:30, there will be a ceremony which includes past principals up on stage where they will be talking about their past experiences when they were at FVHS.

The posters that Mr. Eich and Pash have made for the 50th year celebration around the school are going to be at the event to be sold to other Barons. They will be selling 50th Year Anniversary pins for $5 a piece where you can wear on your graduation gowns. White T-Shirts ($12) and Crewnecks ($13) with the 50th anniversary logo will also be on sale. Lastly FVHS will be selling drawstring pouches for $5 a piece.

There will be sign in walls where you can find your graduating decade and sign your name and your graduation year. There will be a sweetheart wall where you and your spouse who both went to FVHS can sign. A legacy wall will be featured where parents and their children can sign if they are both from FVHS.

Lastly, FVHS will be burying a time capsule of all of the great memories from the 50 years of Fountain Valley High School.
