K-POP Tours in your Area (Well, in LA)

With Korean Pop (K-POP) on the rise in the music industry, it’s no wonder that K-POP artists are expanding their tours into the western world. It’s no small feat, only recently have there been tours and performances by K-POP artists. Here is a look at some tours “in your area,” as Blackpink might say.

Blackpink

With the iconic girl group under the YG Company, this is their first world tour after the release of nine songs. Blackpink has released hits such as “Boombayah” and “Ddu-du Ddu-du”, with “Ddu-du Ddu-Du” reaching over 500 million views on YouTube.

April 17th, The Forum in Los Angeles

Sunmi

Under the company MakeUs Entertainment after leaving JYP Entertainment, Sunmi is a solo artist who has released hits such as “Gashina”, “Heroine” and “Siren”. “Siren” obtained an all-kill within 24 hours of release.

The six membered boy group under Fantagio recently released their newest album, “All Light” with its soft and romantic themes. It has already reached the top ten of the Billboard World Albums chart.

Stray Kids

Stray Kids, under the JYP Entertainment Company, is a nine member boy group band who have hit songs such as “YAYAYA” and “Insomnia”. With the release of “My Pace” about six months ago, the boys have racked up more attention from others who particularly like boy groups.
