On Tuesday, the girls’ varsity soccer team crushed Estancia High School with an outstanding score of 7-0, the largest win ratio the team has had against the school. Each goal was scored by a different player on the team. Other key players included junior goalkeepers Bianca Fernandez and Jasmine Solorzano.

The team’s strong collaborative effort is an advantageous characteristic essential to their success this season.

“We’re playing very well, the ‘no ‘I’ in team’ kind of concept is really showing through with this group.” said coach Goldman

“It was a fun and easy win!” said senior Summer Khalil of the match.

This weekend, the team participated in the Best of the West soccer tournament, which Goldman described as  “our true test to see where we’re at this point in the season.”
