On Thursday, April 1, the girls’ varsity tennis team lost their game against Huntington Beach High School, resulting in their third loss this season. Despite this, the team made some incredible plays during their three sets.

Doubles team sophomore Iris Chau and senior Skylar Ngo won their first set with a score of 6-3. Iris Chau, however, was injured and the team did not play during the second set, and senior Jasmine Nguyen subbed in for her during the third set.

Junior Nghi Trinh was also injured after her first singles game and did not play during the second set. Sophomore Quenna Nguyen subbed in for her during the third set. Both sets played by them resulted in a final score of 0-6.

During the second set, doubles team seniors Kaylee Tran and Emily Tran bounced back after losing their first set 1-6. They were able to secure a win with a score of 6-3 during their second game but did not stop there. They won their third and final set as well, finishing with a score of 6-2.
