This Monday, boys’ varsity golf team faced off against Los Alamitos at Willowick Golf Course.
While the match was close, the boys’ golf lost to the Griffins with a score of 186-200.
Despite the loss, the golf team played hard this round. A key player during this game was junior Oscar Nguyen, who had a score of 38.
“I thought we were going to lose by a lot today but we actually came close,” Nguyen said. “It shows how much better our team has gotten throughout the season.”
The boys’ next golf game is away at the Meadowlark Golf Course on May 5 at 3 p.m.
