In need of unique second-hand pieces that won’t break the bank and be eco-friendly as well? Senior Kristine Pham’s got you covered with Tiimeless Boutique

“My clothes are for teens and young adults who are into trendy clothing,” Pham said. “A lot of pretty popular brands such as Urban Outfitters or Princess Polly’s.”

Tiimeless Boutique was created in March of last year because of her love for thrifting. Her products are clothes that she buys second-hand or brand new either online or at thrift stores.

“One of my hobbies is thrifting and I figured a lot of stuff I would find was pretty cool and I wouldn’t wear all of it so I thought, why not sell it?” said Pham.

Another factor for creating the business was her efforts to reduce fashion waste and consumption.

“There’s so much fast fashion waste since a lot of clothes end up in landfills,” Pham said. “I wanted a way for people to be able to shop trendy name-brand clothes while staying eco-friendly and affordable.”

Pham has great ambitions for her business such as to have her own products and manufacture her own instead of buying them secondhand. She also has plans to open her own stores.

Pham has learned to excel in communicating with customers in a professional way while still allowing her unique personality to shine.

She has great advice for those who want to get into fashion is to explore on social media.

“Have a Pinterest board of outfits that appeal to you and don’t be afraid to branch out. Don’t think that you have to have just one certain aesthetic, just wear whatever you like,” Pham said.

Her advice to those who want to get into the business industry: don’t let others’ opinions stop you from running a business.

“My family used to think it was just a silly hobby, although it did start off as a hobby it made me realize I would like to pursue business administration as a career,” she said.

Pham is also inspired by the unique interaction between customers and other business owners.

“It’s so fun meeting new people, especially when customers express how excited they are every time they receive their purchase,” she said.

Outside of thrifting and running Timeless Boutique, Pham is into art, specifically painting.
