This Tuesday, the Fountain Valley High School varsity girls’ golf team triumphed over Edison High School at the Costa Mesa Country Club with a final score of 205-211.

Standout performances include sophomore Kylie Phi and senior Madison Le, who both scored 38 points, and senior Milan Nguyen with 39 points.

The close victory was a show of teamwork and dedication out on the green.

“Today was a little rough with the condition of the course and the way Edison played. It really came down to the wire and we were all really anxious but we were victorious!” Nguyen said.

The next girls’ golf match will be against Huntington Beach High School on Oct.15 at Seacliff Country Club, starting at 3 p.m.
