On November 8th and 9th, student delegates from the FVHS MUN club competed against 30 other schools at the BruinMUN 2014 conference and brought back six awards.
In a meeting on Thursday with staff and faculty, Principal Chris Herzfeld announces that he may be taking on another position as principal at Laguna Beach High School.
The price of tickets for the FVHS homecoming dance have increased $20 from last year.
Although Homecoming is this Saturday, some students haven’t cleared their detentions to attend the annual dance.
Art Club officially became a club and participated in Club Rush.
This year, Spanish 1, 2, and 3 classes have been assigned brand-new workbooks that student will use during first semester.
The science department has created a new, hands-on science class for students.
For the 2014-2015 school year, changes have been made to the lunch menu at FVHS to meet nutrition requirements.
Though summer break may seem as a two-month vacation from homework and studying, it is a rigorous introduction to upcoming AP classes for many students.
