Mock Trial’s 2012 season ended with a defeat against Tesoro High in the semi-finals round on December 11th.
Either Tesoro or Saddleback Christian Academy will continue onto finals this Saturday. The winner will continue to state, where the top two of around 40 teams will go on to nationals.
Mock Trial will begin again next year in September.
“We did really well, and we really surpassed my expectations,” said Austin Jenkins (’14) “It was hard with a lot of members leaving this year, but since we did well, I think that more people will be more encouraged to join next year.”
“It was a great season while it lasted,” said Sarah Tang (’13). “We spent so much time together. I made a lot of new friends during competition and made a lot of memories for my senior year.”
