Barons enjoy a night of mystery and masquerade

FVHS held its annual prom at the Queen Mary in Long Beach last Saturday. The theme was A Night of Mystery Masquerade.

The dance was held within three different floors of the ship. The top floor was reserved for students to take professional-grade photographs, the second floor held snacks ranging from a selection of cheese to fudge brownies for guests to munch on, as well as a temporary tattoo workshop. The bottom floor was devoted to dancing.

On the lowest floor DJ Kris P played his set while guests posed with props at a photo booth nearby.  If attendees were looking to take a break from all the dancing and activities, they could sit down in the red-lit resting room.

“Prom was everything I hoped it would be; the photo booth and the DJ were the highlights of that night,” Phelan Phan (’13) said. “If there were people that missed on this lifetime experience, you seriously missed out on an amazing dance with memories that you would have looked back during your later years in life.”

“The atmosphere was hot literally! But figuratively, it was a majestic night. I would say that the people who didn’t come missed a once in a lifetime opportunity,” said Thomas Tran (‘14).

About Tyanna Bui

I remember when this box would be on myspace. I'd spend so much time just doodling random, awesome things about myself. But since this isn't myspace, some things you should know about me are that I'm a big fan of music, thus making me a musician, reading seventeen magazine, and surely sharing my thoughts to the world.
