Make a list of places you want to explore further on the tour and things you want to ask about.

  2. Ask the tour guide lots of questions! Come prepared so that you can be informed.
  3. Try the cafeteria food and local restaurants nearby. If this is the school you want to be committed to for the next few years, you need to know your options.
  4. Search for places that are hiring. It helps to get a job to pay off the high tuition fees that may follow.
  5. Visit classes that fall under your major and meet professors.
  6. Check out the dorms and stay in one overnight if possible to really get a feel for the campus and the people.
  7. Check the activities and clubs the campus offers so you can think of what you’d like to join and be involved.
  8. Talk to college students to get learn a little about their life and how they feel about going to school there. It helps to get perspective for students already going there because that may be you in a few months!
